Sebastian's virtues, fourth update
Sebastian's virtues, fourth update
Throughout this week we got quite an amount of quiz's. One quiz in particulate got me quite confused. Mr Espina gave us some online quiz and I think I did the wrong one. I had a total of 12 questions which at first I thought was right. That is until everyone else finished and said that they all had 15 questions on their quizzes. So i'm screwed and so is my grade. One thing I don't know whether I should do or not are sports. I like sports, teams, and all that fun stuff but I don't think I need to get committed to anything right know. I exercise on my own time and don't think that I physically need to go to a sport to improve. Plus I think that school sports kinda suck that is not trying to dis consider all of Archie's determined and hardworking athletes.

Sebastian's virtues, third update
Sebastian's virtues, third update
This week at least for me has gone by pretty fast. I really haven't given my virtues much thought. It's kinda hard to wake up in the morning and think about what virtue you will try to practice today. I did however fall of my chair on Wednesday during algebra 2. I didn't even realize that I had fallen until I notices that I was under my table. In class craft my team finally got the power to heal and we are no longer in close danger of dying to the hands of an unlucky day. The only virtue I guess I have practiced this week is cooperation. Like my geometry group and I had to work on a problem together in order to get a good grade. One thing I am waiting for is for Saturday. I can't help but wait for that moment when my peer group and I fail at like everything because not everyone in my group is too intrigued on fighting others groups in order to win.

Sebastian's virtues, Second update
Second update
During this week I have stayed somewhat on task however many things are appearing that are really stopping my progress for cooperation. During ethics class four out of the five people in my team died. We all think that we are pretty much going to die everyday. We all have below five health and it seems that we won't be able at least any time soon to heal ourselves back since we all choose selfish powers. I can't help but feel that we are gonna loss every time we enter class. This also plays over my commitment virtue. I want to level up fast so I can get better powers that give me xp so that I can then get the best powers that will benefit everyone in my team (but mostly me). I also struggled with how hard this year just got this week. We got like five quizzes and a test for geometry that in truth I think everybody gonna fail. Studying for that test was so boring like omg how many proofs can a problem even have. But at least it is Friday and this week has pasted so I hope I've got "good luck" for next week.

Sebastian's virtues, First update
First update
To recap; my three virtues are commitment, respect and cooperation. so far I have yet to complete my task as of attaining these virtues permanently but I have tried to make them part of my daily routine. Everyday I try my best to be respectful to my fellow class mate but I can't stay respectful forever and eventual through my day I break. I have succeeded however in both cooperation and commitment. In robotics I cooperate with my fellow builders Which in turn allows us to finish at a faster pass than the other building groups. And for commitment I pretty much use it all day every day. When I bored of writing I just try harder to finish, when I get tired of doing exercise I continue until I truly believe that I cannot. One thing though that has held some of my progress back is homework. I just can't get always finish when I want and I end up getting mad which makes me not want to do anything.

MY VIRTUES
Sebastian Hernandez 9th grade
Character experiment
Commitment: “The state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc”. Using this virtue I can accomplish more of the things that I want to do during my lifetime. For example staying committed to school is very important. If I stop being committed to school then i'll begin to fall behind. After comes cause of effect and then I'll fail my classes. Failing my classes would make my college application bad and then I wouldn’t end up going to a top college. My dreams would be ruined. So I plan to use this virtue through the school year. I hope that it allows me to test myself and see exactly how far I can stay focused on getting through this school year with the best grades that I possibly can.
Respect: “A feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements”. I choose respect because I am told often that I need to respect my teachers and that I need to respect my parents. They are the people in my life that I look up to. They are the people that are always pushing me to become a better person and they are always helping me improve the person that I already am. I plan on growing this virtue by not only appreciating the time and work that my teachers and parents put in for me but by showing it. I will make a large effort to show them how much I actually care.
Cooperation: “The process of working together to the same end’. Becoming more cooperative allows people to realize how much they could actually do. When you are cooperative you get better social skills and you become more understanding about yourself and others. It allows you to hear different opinions other than you own which makes you less stubborn. It also allows you to learn your strengths by having your team or group telling you how good you can actually become at something. My plan to grow this virtue is by implementing it into a variety of team work groups and teams I am in such as robotics and the AMC swimming team.
